Второе место по частоте появления синего экрана смерти PFN_LIST_CORRUPT я решил отдать неисправным планкам памяти «ОЗУ». Предлагаю их протестировать. Для этого можно использовать встроенную в Windows 10 утилиту под названием «Средство проверки памяти».

Чтобы его запустить, нужно:

1. Щелкнуть по значку поиска рядом с меню «Пуск».
2. Ввести фразу «средство проверки» и выбрать необходимый пункт.
3. Затем выбираем самый первый вариант перезагрузки и проверки.
4. Сканирование планок памяти начнется автоматически после перезапуска. Дождитесь, когда процесс будет полностью завершен. По итогам тестирования в строке «Состояние» отобразятся все найденные дефекты, если они конечно есть.

   • DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /source:WIM:X:SourcesInstall.wim:1 /LimitAccess
5. Make sure to change an X value with the letter of the mounted drive with the Windows 10 installation.
6. After the procedure is finished, restart your computer.

Solution 5 – Check the hard drive

If there’s something wrong with your hard drive, BSODs are a common occurrence. For that matter, you need to check the condition of your hard drive. And to do that, use the chkdsk command. This command basically scans your partitions and resolves any potential problems.

Here’s how to run the chkdsk command in Windows 10:

1. Enter the Advanced Startup (Restart your computer while holding the Shift key).
2. Choose Troubleshoot > Advanced Options.
3. Select Command Prompt from the list of options.
4. When Command Prompt appears, enter the following lines and press Enter after each line in order to run it:
   • bootrec.exe /rebuildbcd
   • bootrec.exe /fixmbr
   • bootrec.exe /fixboot
5. Some users are also suggesting that you need to run additional chkdsk commands as well. To perform these commands, you need to know drive letters for all your hard drive partitions. In Command Prompt you should enter the following (but remember to use the letters that match your hard drive partitions on your PC):
   • chkdsk /r c:
   • chkdsk /r d:

   This is just our example, so keep in mind that you have to perform chkdsk command for every hard drive partition that you have.

6. Restart your computer and check if the issue is resolved.

Solution 6 – Disable Microsoft OneDrive

OneDrive was a part of the Windows Essentials suite for many years, but with the rising popularity of cloud storage, it became a default application on Windows 10. OneDrive is a great tool that allows you to collaborate and share files with others, but unfortunately, several users reported that OneDrive can also cause PFN LIST CORRUPT error. In order to fix this issue, you’ll have to disable OneDrive, and you can do that by following these steps:

1. Press Windows Key + S and enter group policy. Select the Edit group policy.
2. When Local Group Policy Editor opens, in the left pane navigate to Local Computer Policy > Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > OneDrive.
3. In the right pane, locate Prevent the usage of OneDrive for file storage and double click it.
4. Select Enabled and click Apply and OK to disable OneDrive.

Alternatively, you can use Registry Editor if you prefer so. To disable OneDrive by using Registry Editor, to do the following:

1. Press Windows Key + R and enter regedit. Press Enter or click OK to start Registry Editor.
2. Once Registry Editor starts, you need to navigate to the following key in the left pane:
   • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwarePoliciesMicrosoftWindows
3. Expand the Windows key and search for OneDrive key. If the key doesn’t exist, go to the next step to create it.
4. Right-click Windows key and choose New > Key. Enter OneDrive as the name of the key.
5. Select the OneDrive key. In the right pane, right click and choose New > DWORD (32-bit) Value. Enter DisableFileSyncNGSC as the name of the new DWORD.
6. Double click the DisableFileSyncNGSC and change its Value data to 1. Click OK to save changes.

If you cannot access Windows 10 due to PFN LIST CORRUPT error, you’ll have to perform these steps from Safe Mode. To enter Safe Mode, do the following:

1. 1. Restart your computer few times while it boots. This should start Automatic Repair process.
   2. Choose Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings. Click the Restart button.
   3. Once your computer restarts again, you’ll see a list of options. Press F5 or 5 to select Safe Mode with Networking.

1. Once the Safe Mode starts, disable the OneDrive.

Solution 7 – Uninstall the problematic software

BSoD errors are often caused by certain software, and many users reported that PFN LIST CORRUPT error is caused by your antivirus. It’s worth mentioning that almost any antivirus software can cause BSoD error, so be sure to uninstall any third-party antivirus software.

In order to completely remove an antivirus software, it’s recommended to use a dedicated uninstaller. Проблема с жестким диском

Диагностика винчестера проводится в основном тогда, когда ваша ОС Windows установлена на одном из его разделов. Подобный вариант необходимо назвать достаточно специфическим, поскольку возникает он крайне редко. Причина заключается в том, что шрифт Bookman Old Style пытается выполнить выдачу отрицательного «х». В некоторых ситуациях последствием станет сбой и последующая выдача строки:

STOP 0x0000001E (parameter1, parameter2, parameter3, parameter4)

Обязательным условием является тот факт, что parameter2 должен находиться в пределах Vga.dll. В определенных ситуациях, но не гарантированно, помогает установка SP6. Довольно простым подходом необходимо отметить изменение шрифта на Bookman Old Style font. Он очень схож, но исключает появление указанной проблемы.

Достаточно часто причиной можно назвать работу неграмотно написанного ПО. Иногда, приложение стремится открыть большое количество указателей, но после окончания своей деятельности не закрывает их. Когда NT не обладает достаточным количеством ресурсов для закрытия, сбой является неминуемым. Если не использовать проблемные программы – это неподходящий вариант, можно порекомендовать почаще осуществлять закрытие их вручную.

Существует два пути решения проблемы и первый из них заключается в скачивании драйвера от Microsoft. Другой подход предполагает запрет на применение UMPD функции.

Установленное ПО

Перед написанием данной статьи, мною был прочитан ни один форум и комментарий. Бывали случаи, когда в роли виновника выступал антивирус AVAST, а именно, ошибку 0x0000004E вызывал файл драйвера «ASWSP.SYS».

Анализируя дамп падений Windows, можно выявить даже конкретные файлы, вызывающие сбой. Для анализа я рекомендую использовать утилиту «BlueScreenView» или любой другой аналог.

Хоть в данном случае проблема была на стороне антивируса, не исключено, что также проблема может быть в любой другой программе. Поэтому не держите в своем арсенале лишний софт.

Обновление BIOS
